One to One

Group Sessions

Exclusive Farm Visit

Up to 90 minutes of equine assisted interactions.

It is recommended that clients have a minimum of 3 sessions to fully explore what may be blocking them from having good emotional well being and finding their joy.

On the first session we will have an in depth conversation  where we talk about what you feel you would like to improve or work on to help  improve your mental well-being and empower you to find your happiness.

After a grounding/ mindfulness exercise, such as a guided meditation or a mindful walk. I will facilitate a meaningful interaction with the herd or an individual horse/pony. This process uses the experiential learning method which will help you to improve resilience, practice emotional regulation and uncover feelings and emotions that you may have been holding onto allowing you space to work through these issues, grow and transform into the person you are meant to be.

Each session is then concluded with a conversation exploring what you have learnt from the interaction and how it can be used to help you to improve your everyday life.

Private and planned group sessions, these will be for up to 6 individuals and will last 2 hours.

This can be tailored  for both adults and children. Each session will be tailored to the needs of the group making sure the session is age appropriate and meets the needs of the individuals within it. Group sessions are a great way for children and adults to improve emotional regulation, explore boundary setting and promote empathy and emotional intelligence through interactions with the horses and the other animals on site.  Individuals will also leave with improved confidence and a feeling of achievement from caring and tending to the animals on site, plus there can be an opportunity to engage in problem solving and team work exercises in some of the structured activities within the session.

These sessions include mindful exercises with the herd such as brushing the ponies, a mindful walk in the field or doing other horse care tasks e.g clearing the field, feeding, filling hay nets or mucking out.

Or you may be gently talked through a guided meditation.

This could then be followed by a structured therapeutic activity such as animal themed crafts, painting, needle felting anything that encourages people to be in the moment allowing you to feel truly present, allowing your brain time to truly relax away from the demands and stresses of life.

Other activities could include designing a course as a team for the ponies to be led around. Sessions can be tailored around your needs feel free to contact me to discuss.
